Quick answers to the questions students and families ask most.
What do I do if I was absent?
Check your class page for what you missed, grab any handouts from the absent-work bin in class, and email me if you have questions. You get one day to make up work for each day you were out.
How late can I turn work in?
Late work is accepted up to one week after the due date for most of the credit. After that, come talk to me — I would much rather you do the work late than not at all.
Can I retake a quiz or test?
Yes. After a quick relearn (corrections plus a short practice set), you can retake any quiz or test once. The retake score replaces the original.
What supplies do I need?
A charged Chromebook, a notebook, and a pencil every day. A folder for class handouts helps. That is it.
How do I reach Mr. Albin?
Email is fastest — kalbin@ririe252.org — and I answer within a school day. You can also catch me before school or during my prep period.
How are grades figured?
Grades reflect what you have learned, not how fast you got there. Most of the grade is quizzes and tests (which you can retake); the rest is the daily work that gets you ready for them.
